UT Basketball with Brandon Wharton

Please welcome to the Birmingham Big Orange Club Brandon Wharton a stellar guard for the Volunteers. Guard from Nashville, Tennessee, Brandon Wharton played basketball at the University of Tennessee from 1996-99. He was named to the 1996 SEC All-Freshman team and was a three-time All-SEC performer and UT most valuable player. Wharton was a four-year starter and the fourth player in UT history to record at least 1,000 points and 300 assists. He currently ranks 11th in UT Scoring history with 1,651 points.

March 2013 Meeting - Robert Baron

The Birmingham Big Orange Club is pleased to have our own Robert Baron of Baron Services. After graduating from the University of Tennessee Robert went on to become the founder of Baron Services which is the leader in delivering technology for the communication of significant weather events. His company developed the world’s first Megawatt dual-polarization radar for broadcast television in 2006. Most recently Robert was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the University of Tennessee.
